Flying Bike Cooperative Brewery is now accepting memberships for founding members!

Join NowJoin us in building Washington’s first community owned craft brewery. Founding members, all those who join prior to opening the brewery, will have a unique opportunity to have a voice in helping design, plan and launch the brewery. They will also be entitled to benefits not available to those who join after we pour our first pint. So what are you waiting for? Join the 400+ beer-loving, community-minded early adopters already on board. Each new member brings us closer to opening the doors of Flying Bike Cooperative Brewery. Own It, Craft It, Drink It!

Cheers to the first 400 members!!

Congratulations to our first 400 members. These members have stepped up and committed to being the first spokes in the Flying Bike wheel. This group, along with our other Founding Members will shape the direction of their brewery.

New Year, New Post

January 5, 2012 6:41 pm | POSTED BY Tim D | off

We’ve been pretty quiet over the holidays as our board has taken a much needed respite from the craziness of last year. We haven’t been running for a year yet, and look how far we’ve come!

We’ve recently seated Mike Knoll to the board of directors, and we’re excited to work with him. His background in finance will be a great help as we build out our business plan.

This Saturday, we’ll be filling the board seat vacated by Derek. Derek’s work life has gotten crazy lately and he and his wife will be welcoming a second child into their family. His priorities understandably are at home. He didn’t feel that he could make meaningful contributions to the co-op at this point. We’re sad to see him go, but wish him best of luck. My guess is we’ll see him around from time to time, especially if there is beer involved!

This Saturday, Jan 7th, we’ll be having our open board meeting at the Green Bean Coffeehouse in Greenwood, although it’ll be from 1-2PM. With the holidays in full swing, another group booked the room before we could! As always, this meeting is open to all FBCB members.

Finally, we’ve had a a small rush of new memberships over the past couple of weeks – Christmas gifts perhaps, but whatever they were I’d like to extend a welcome to our new members!
