Open House and Status

Wow, we are just 9 days from our cutoff for accepting checks to make escrow, and soooo close to making it!

On August 31st, Escrow for our first phase
of the investment campaign closes.

What does that mean, you ask?  It means that we have to have all $200,000 of your investments back to US Bank (in the Midwest somewhere) in their hand, to be eligible to KEEP the investments you have made so far.  To do this, we need to have them IN THE MAIL to US Bank by August 25th.

That means, as of today, we need to have, IN HAND, another $13,500 from you, our members, by Saturday, August 23rd.  This is phase 1 of fundraising, to get to open something like this concept, here:

What happens if we don’t make it?  It means (and this is VERY real…) that we have to refund all of your investments, and scrap this campaign and start over at some future date.  What does THAT mean?

  • It means: We don’t get to sign a lease on the Greenwood space.
  • It means: Flying Bike Cooperative Brewery won’t open in 2015.
  • It means: We won’t have a real brewery to call our own, for some time…

But hey, all you folks that said you just need to write the check and fill out these forms (Disclosure and W9), are going to come through, right?  Right!  So do it today – don’t delay!

You can delay just a bit more, if you want ..
(oh, I can just hear the other boardmembers cringing at my even suggesting this…).

You can come and meet us IN PERSON at the new space, at our Second Open House on August 21st and HAND US YOUR INVESTMENT IN PERSON.

Yup, that’s right – we’ve got special permission from the landlord to open it up again, and show you, our membership, the space one more time.  Come see us at 6:00pm at 8570 Greenwood Avenue North, and bring your forms and checks.  Or just bring your checkbooks and we will supply the forms!  We will even bring the pens!

So this is crunch time, folks.  We want to meet you in person, our fellow members, and show you first hand the vision that could be the physical manifestation of Flying Bike Cooperative Brewery.    Come on out and join us, won’t you?

See you there!
