With the recent spate of new nano-breweries opening up in our very own neighborhoods, a popular way to help fund these is through Kickstarter, or brewery initiated “clubs” such as a “Founders Club” or “Mug Clubs”.  We applaud this creative way to raise capital and create a buzz about your new brewery!

And it’s a decent value for a beer connoisseur: Costs run from $50-$150 for lifetime membership – but then sometimes it ranges up to $50 a year

As cool as that is, there’s an even better value awaiting you at Flying Bike.

Besides just the feeling of community/belonging to a cool small brewery – you actually own a piece of it.  So you are not just a “member of the club” – you’re an actual Member-Owner of the Brewery!

So why is this a worthwhile distinction, to be a Member-Owner?  Well, here’s a list of some of the things that a Flying Bike Coop Member-Owner gets for a one time fee of $150, that members of those other brewery clubs don’t get:

Co-op Membership is Cool!So yeah, it’s cool to have a nifty t-shirt to wear while you’re kicking back enjoying a frosty one in that Founders’ Club mug…
